ooh forgot about this thread!

Unfortunately the jogging went a caput and I stopped going I think it was shin splints I had and to be honest it really put my off jogging for a long while..

I have however joined a gym now last Nov and have been going between 2-4 times a week depending on the time I have. Each time I go I always do at least 30 mins on the treadmill doing walking and jogging. I sometimes go on the bike or the cross trainer too for around 10-15 mins to build up my cardio fitness and Im doing basic resistance training too, and I try to do 20 laps (takes 20mins) in the pool twice a week. and every chance I get I go into the jacuzzi and sauna and steam room for a bit of chill out time.

My friend from college comes along too and its great motivation for us both - we are building up on the treadmill for a 5km race for life, we are doing in May - got the treadmill set at a 2.0% angle to work the leg muscles and we try to walk with at least 5.8-6.0 speed with some jogging in between.

I don't think I will ever make a runner, but at least I am slowly getting fitter in body and heart!

Sorry about the bit of delay in the update.
