We have snow! Freezing fog as well, but the views were stunningly beautiful in the sunlight before the fog spread. When I was driving up to my parents on Tuesday, I wished I could have stopped on the Motorway to take pictures some of the views of snow covered trees and fields in the sunlight backed by clear blue skies were just so beautiful

It is so beautiful when it first snows, but it is finally thawing here and I'm so pleased as it makes it so much safer and easier for everyone to get around whether on foot, by car or on transport.

Steve had a really hairy time in his car just around the corner and we were unable to get it home for a day or so.

We have about five inches of snow, cold cold nights and beautiful magenta pink sunsets which paint pastel shades behind vistas of snow-laden trees... best kind of snow.

There was a wee flash of the sun as the clouds rolled by earlier... it's gone now...

ok so what's the weather like where you guys are today?
Been talking to family down on south coast and they definitely are having much sunnier and warmer weather than I am.

Reckon this north/south divide is very pronounced weather wise this year.

July/August here in north east has been very dull. Yesterday felt like autumn!
Can you tell that I'm disgruntled

I'm afraid it's not much better here in Essex. It's quite warm and muggy, but mostly cloudy with showers. In fact the rain woke me up last night, as it was quite heavy.
